But my car is my beater. The day when i have respect for the things i buy, (like hopefully a nicer t-bird) is probably the day i just give it a tap on the gas instead of wide open throttle. But thanks to everyone, cause i now i know i'm retarded and need to tone it down. John has passed me on a 4 lane highway and pipe shotted me. And you can hear it like you where standing behind the car! Loud!! I remember the guy who used to own that tbird before john, standing outside of autohole you could hear him waaay down the road giving it hell probably going 70 in a 35. Then he would knock it down in low gear and it would just backfire to beet hell. He did it all day long. In logan though it is very common to get a pipe shot instead of a horn honk. Hell I used to pipe shot the cops (in there cruisers) I knew when I drove my ranger. I don't do it now cause the Sled is not loud at all. Even then I would just tap the gas to get a small rev. Just wondering... Reply #37 – March 09, 2006, 05:12:46 PM I got some old guy in a chevelle to race me. Needless to say I lost. I raced a older(25ish, maybe 30) in a 80's v-6 stang. He followed me to the gas station and we were talking shiznit on each others cars. He kept telling me he had a v-8 but he wouldnt pop the hood.Some people are cool with "pipe shooting". Some people get pissed off follow you, so you lose them through some residentials and when you get home there is a cop waiting for you. Quote Selected
