obviously not a fox, but WOW.. nasty SC

i love SC's just as much as fox birds, minus the 'luxary car' feel.. but this is a prime example of why i love them.. this car is just flat out mean.. makes me reeeaaaaalllllly miss my 89 SC 5spd :(

Wow....sounds AWESOME near its top end...guessing 6000+ RPM or so?

always wanted to put an SC motor in a fox, even if it had to be a stang

I have an 89 SC 5 spd right now, but I can't say I love it.  Gimme a fox any day.  I know I need to change plugs and wires on it, but its currently running ok at 65K and I really have NO desire to change them.  This is coming from the guy that strips cars to their shell to build them!

no one has the desire to change plugs on an SC.. the driver side plugs are a huge PITMFA.. mine wasn't stock though, i had a few SCP bolt ons with a jet chip, 10% pullies and shorty headers off an SN95 3.8.. she was fun to drive, until the inevitable head gasket failure.. i really miss her, she was a fun daily driver

i'll give you an 87 TC with no motor for yours ;)

you mean pass side plugs?  It looks like the drivers is the easy side.  Mines got a pulley and cold air intake, full exhaust except manifolds, centerforce dual friction, and ripper shifter.  Its quick and all, just gets lousy mileage and doesn't have the looks of a fox.
BTW why would I get rid of a running car for a roller?

One day I WILL own a 94 or 95 SC. I miss my 96 n/a to death I loved that car and was planning on doing an SC engine swap but the poor car was just dying a slow painful death and I had to put it down. I would love a freakin SC esp in 94/95 cause they got the new interior plus the bigger blower.

i don't care for the 94+ interiors, too modern for my taste.. but the M90 blower is great. i bought 1 for my SC from a junkyard donor that i never got to put on because of the stupid head gaskets >:l

I don't know what it is with those cars but I never liked them. I LOVE the Mark VIIIs. I LOVE the foxes, just can't get torqued up about those MN12s.

neither could i until i traded my cougar for my sc.. i bought it only because of the motor and fell in love with it after it's first trip out of the driveway.. the body just grew on me after that.. i still don't like the non-sc's though, the skirts and bumpers are what do it for me

Every 89 up mn-12 I have ridden in just felt wrong. Hate the 4.6 too. Even with the extra 75 hp, still can't out run an 86 5.0 cougar.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
