OH, the throttle body connector. Gotcha, and, I was typing all that and was thinking "5.0" the whole time. You's doing a 3.8. Holy . My head has been removed from my butt, I can think clearly now.LOL. Have you checked Ebay? I'm gonna go look right now.

no, haven't checked ebay. I think I can get one on here if I need to. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get that one from the other car at the yard. I'm gonna check that first.

Yeah Steve you better be carefull when you're working under there. And I would defenately use jack stands! I was using a scissor jack once while changing the front brakes and the car ended up falling. Luckily my legs weren't under it, I was alone then and would've been stuck until my neighbor would've gotten home. Jack stands are alot safer.

I know, I know. I was just in the clouds apparently. I'm glad you have helpers for the job. I always hated swapping out those AOD's. The T-5....not so bad. As far as floor shifted V-6 cars go, I saw only one in my life. It was either an '87 or '88 that I almost bought a few years back. I wish i would have. Very oddball car.

I know what you mean man. As far as I care, the worst part is the fluid changes. Nothing worse than ATF:yuck:. Worst automotive fluid ever. Except for that fishy rear diff fluid.:barf:

Yes, unfortunately it won't be ready anytime soon. Lack of planning and proper tools/equipment/parts has forced me to put this off for at least tomorrow. And even after that I still have to put exhaust and a tag on it.:rolleyes:

Keep at it, you'll find a way. I remember what it was like living in an apartment and working in the parking lot. Makes it much harder to manage.

It'll be worth the effort.

Holy . IT IS DONE.

Floor shift installation complete, console installation complete, tranny swap complete.

YEEEAAAAAHHH.

Everything is buttoned up and ready for a test drive tomorrow. Wanted to do it tonight but once again its like 11:00 at night and well open headers don't sit too well with neighbors who enjoy there sleep lol.

I'll post tomorrow with a good pic of the new finished interior, and progress on the test drive. I'm having some difficulty getting the cable attached to the shift lever but I do currently have the ability to shift to N and D and thats all I need:burnout: I can put on the ebrake and shift it by hand underneath if I have to back up or whatever.
