the cougar is DONE!!!!.... HO/E303/MAS/T5 conversion complete. Drive Video added

after going for a rip in Claudes cat (and the fact that my car used 5 liters of oil to and from CJ) I decided enough of the SO ...
and started the HO/E303/mass air conversion today.  here is the progress after 1.5 hours:





Here is a pic of the baffle that is causing the oil burning issue.  I seen some people give me a funny look when I triied explaining the issue to them:
DO NOT buy a cheap chinese intake!  uless you like having a motor that burns as much oil as gas....



Now I just have to go out and pull the heads, pull the timing case cover and throw the E cam in and put my ported E7's on it.:evilgrin:

Dam ron,you should have said something sooner, i had the afternoon off work today and would have helped ya out.

Tom moss has the pattern for downloading the larger baffle,on his web sight.But I do believe your goin a different route.

I just got done opening up the cambers in the heads and removing the ERG hump from the exhaust ports, and putting some colour on them.






I am done for the day, gotta get a Balancer puller tonight and finish the tear down in the morning.
Im actually impressed at the condition of the motor inside.  with over 200miles there is no feelable wear on the cylinder walls, and you can still see the cross hatch in them...

Can I have the Cobra intake?The upper alone will be fine.You don't need that Chinese made .LOL.

many times...  if all goes well I should have it buttoned back up and just the wiring left for tomorrow.

and vinne, the upper is the only good part about it....  the lower is what the  chinese screwed up on...

im still amazed you dont work on your cars over pavement. i keep picturing you picking up parts and wiping the grass and dirt off of them. LOL!

lol, I make sure I dont drop anything, and IF I do I have a parts washing bin I wash them off in...

total disassembly is done, cam is out and waiting for morning to clean all the gasket surfaces and start slapping it back together....

haha Mine may be a knock off but it still works, lol.... I will just make a better baffle for it.

hmmm, I was just reviewing my notes, and apparently the E cam wont work, so I will be using a stock HO cam I guess...

Why won't the e-cam work?????????? your going mass.
