started cleaning up the engine bay Reply #271 – February 13, 2008, 04:06:40 PM I'm really just looking for more of a feel, not a measurement. For example, how will it be sitting in the seat and driving? It appears a bit higher, think it'll be wierd to look over? Quote Selected
started cleaning up the engine bay Reply #272 – February 13, 2008, 04:32:46 PM This might help. Here is a picture comparison from about the same distance and angle. It doesn't look like it's much different height wise.Brent:cougarsmily: Quote Selected
started cleaning up the engine bay Reply #273 – February 13, 2008, 04:45:02 PM yeah, that does help. It looks a bit higher where the dash arches up, but not much, huh? 1-2" maybe? Quote Selected

started cleaning up the engine bay Reply #275 – February 13, 2008, 07:36:34 PM if you draw a line with your eye tangent to the top of the highest point of the dash and over to the mirror trim plate, they look nearly the same height to me. Quote Selected
started cleaning up the engine bay Reply #276 – February 13, 2008, 07:45:49 PM So, why the talk in earlier posts about no A/C making the dash install easier? Quote Selected

started cleaning up the engine bay Reply #278 – February 13, 2008, 07:58:55 PM Oh yeah, I know it's not a bolt in! That's what makes it fun! I'm just wondering what tpuppies the dash has to do with the a/c. I started a thread in the interior forum about an sn95 dash swap. Would you mind sharing your personal experience over there? started cleaning up the engine bay Reply #280 – February 13, 2008, 11:23:13 PM Awesome work. One word of caution, though: do yourself a favor and take a CLOSE look at the spark plug threading in the heads, especially for plug #3. There have been reports that many of those engines don't have enough thread for the plugs and they sometimes spit the plugs out. An ounce of prevention and all that... Quote Selected
