Anyone ever set up a fox Cougar/Bird for open track events

The 17X9 Cobra R (R58) wheels fit fine. I have the m-2300-k brake kit which uses SN spindles. Although I think there are some differences in the SN spindles depending on the year... I.e. some years are more desirable than others. I cant remember which ones are the best for geometry purposes. Definitely something I'd look into if I were shopping for a set.
For tires I have in front 245/45ZR17 and in the rear 275/40zr17 Dunlop SP8000. They grip pretty well on the street and are decent in the rain also and seem to wear well so far. They dont rub either although I have rack limiters and tubular A arms in the front and the quad shocks are gone in the back. I've used Yokohama ES100's and BFG Euro T/A's but they both wear out too fast (down to 2/32 or less in a year). I ran some Goodyears once and they were awesome in the rain and lasted a long time but they wouldn't balance for shiznit! So I'm done with them. The Dunlop's compare well with the Goodyears positive characteristics and they balance fine so I'll stick with them for street rubber. Unfortunatelty I haven't had the car out at an Auto X event yet so I cant tell you how these tires are as far as real performanc driving goes... yet;)
Now, if I had a spare set of rims I'd get some Khumo V710's mounted for Auto X or HPDE. I've heard nothing but rave reviews about these. They're a dedicated race tire though.
BTW, your Saleen is awesome. I dont think I've ever seen an 86 outside of pictures.
