MM C/C plate users...pics please!!! April 16, 2006, 01:02:19 AM Ok so I'm looking at my strut mounts from under the hood, oh man, they are screwed. They might be original! They gotta go. I'm looking at Maximum Motorsport's plates, but they look like they might interfere with my Kenny Brown 3-pt strut tower brace. Odds are I can't use them (and I'm not keen on removing the STB) but I'd like some confirmation. Thanks :) Quote Selected

MM C/C plate users...pics please!!! Reply #3 – April 16, 2006, 01:26:01 PM Well, I just recently got MM's strut tower brace (not on the car quite yet though) and they say theirs is designed to work with their C/C plates. So if I ever get em I'll be in luck :) Quote Selected

Well the strut towers probably didn't change much by 1988. :)Thanks guys, the forum always hooks a brotha up! :D Yes the MM STB will work with their CC plates. The Kenny Brown unit looks fine on the driver's side, but the passenger side is a little tight. Quote Selected

MM C/C plate users...pics please!!! Reply #7 – April 17, 2006, 06:23:43 PM Thanks for that pic too! MM got back to me, said they doubt it will work from their experience with the KB brace. I'm gonna compare it with these pics again...but yeah, odds are I'll just go with stock mounts and use the extra cash for MM's solid 1" rear swaybar. That's what I really need to balance the handling on this rig. :) Quote Selected
