Some people have thousands of dollars coming to them that they didn't know about. Most times it's a piddly 100 or two, but it's free to look it up. Just go to http://www.unclaimed.org. Reply #7 – April 07, 2006, 01:46:00 PM , I went looking on Ohio's website...Well, I didn't find anything under my name, but under a "Hunt" with an unknown street address and city there is $500. I was gonna submit a form but it says everything over $100 must be notarized. Bleh, they'd probably deny me anyway.There's an Alma Hunt on there that has over $3000 coming to her:eek: Quote Selected

Reply #9 – April 08, 2006, 10:50:22 AM found my mom and sister on there, and a few distanst cousins.Looks like a few ppl in my wifes family had few class action suits that from companies as they used to work mining and they were all on there, and one that might be an unclaimed life insurance. pretty cool.
