Get your unclaimed property!

I was watching the news late last night and found a place that tracks unclaimed property.  Some people have thousands of dollars coming to them that they didn't know about.  Most times it's a piddly 100 or two, but it's free to look it up.  Just go to http://www.unclaimed.org.  Let us know if anyone comes into a small fortune!  I'm not getting anything, but I did find my uncle a hundred bucks.

No it wasn't.  There was a chick that had money coming to her in AZ and in Cali with the same last name as mine.

Hm, well I found stuff under my mom, dad and grandma's names, but they were all in towns I've either never heard of or that were pretty far from here. I dunno :dunno:

On the WV site it doesn't say anything about monetary value either...

I poked around there and checked Washington state. Found out I have over a hundred bucks sitting around there. Claim process was real easy too!

, I went looking on Ohio's website...

Well, I didn't find anything under my name, but under a "Hunt" with an unknown street address and city there is $500. I was gonna submit a form but it says everything over $100 must be notarized. Bleh, they'd probably deny me anyway.

There's an Alma Hunt on there that has over $3000 coming to her:eek:

With a name like Alma, she's probably dead by now. Ooops, did I say that?

Nothing for my immediate family. My mom's aunt had some coming to her. We saw it a couple months ago but haven't heard anything from her about it.

found my mom and sister on there, and a few distanst cousins.
Looks like a few ppl in my wifes family had few class action suits that from companies as they used to work mining and they were all on there, and one that might be an unclaimed life insurance. pretty cool.
