Can anyone tell me what the part number is for an engine computer to a 5.0L speed density SEFI setup?
Thanks

Look at http://www.fordfuelinjection.com under EEC program codes. You'll find the code #'s that show on the upper right hand corner of the computer harness connector. This page includes 5.0L SD computers for HO mustangs, Lincoln MkVII, TBirds, etc... Hope this helps.

I found one on ebay. That's what I needed the number for. Had to save the pic, enlarge it enormously, and then piece together the dots from being pixelated to come up with the number on the piece they were selling. But it turned out to be a computer for an 88 Tbird 5.0 speed density set up. Just what I needed to get it working.
Now if I can come up with a wiring harness I got it set. That's the last piece I need to complete my 5.0 transplant other then the exhaust which I may have worked out with another forum member.
I found the intake, throttle body, EGR spacer with valve in working condition, fuel rails with injectors and injector harness, a cold air intake, and the computer all for around 100 bucks. Not bad considering its the HO Intake, throttle body, and spacer.
That along with the E7 heads off the 302 out of the truck I ran across should beef the motor up descent I hope.
Hopefully soon I can post pics of my bird with a 5.0 in it, as well as maybe a few before after and during pics, since we've documented everything thats been changed so far.
