Most of that stuff pictured is generally under $20 a piece. I've been saving my money and being frugal to buy stuff with whatever money I can find. I got a two-month break on daycare so that's were most of my money is coming from recently.

Yeah it snowed. It didn't stick to the roads but it is cold as hades. It's been pretty warm all week until today. Of course. I live in an apartment but a friend of mine said I could use his driveway. He has a garage but the roofers have a trash bin blocking it. =/ I didn't feel too enthused about working on a cold wet driveway with the wind blowing this morning.

On a positive note, me and my g/f found a house for rent last night and it has a garage. Woot! It's pretty much a done deal, we get the keys on the 11th of Feb so I can't wait to move in! :D

A cold garage doesn't bother me as much as the wind does. When it's below freezing even a slight breeze can feel like a pimp slap. It kills my motivation pretty quick.

I wonder if we are the only michigan residents on this forum...Doesn't this weather stink? I guess having lakes on three sides of you state makes for temperamental conditions.

And I thought I was the only one who has car parts in their bedroom. I have a full dash, new headlights, an H.O. intake manifold, exhaust tips, SD S.O. and H.O. computers along with a ton of other little things in there. I have a lot more stuff piled away in the basp00get.

Try having the ocean on four sides of you. We can have all four seasons in a single day  - f'rinstance today it started out as 60 and rainy, then the sun came out, the wind came up, the temperature dropped, and now we're expecting low teens and light snow with 50MPH wind tonight, then cold/windy tomorrow, and then back into the 50's with sunshine on Tuesday

thats gotta mess with your head. people around here are constantly crabby cause of the weather changes. not that boston area people are known for their general cheeryness anyway. i can only imagine how people are out your way.

screw that working on the ground stuff. over the past 4 years i have built my garage-mahal. it started as a 28x28 2 car, then about 2 years ago started on the 3rd bay. took almost a year of weekends and buying material when i could afford it. the 3rd bay is now "t-bird bay" as it is 15x40 and has my drag project and daily driver in it. oh did i mention the 3rd bay is insulated, heated and a/c'd? i still have a bunch of parts for the drag car in our 3rd bedroom though. something about them being in a 24 hour climate controlled environment. LOL!

Yeah right! I bet there's more people here with parts in their bedrooms then you think. That's where I keep 95% of my stuff...mostly because I don't have anywhere else to keep it (our basp00get is packed full of junk, plus we have a dog that likes to pee on anything sitting on the floor). It's also easier to keep inventory of what I have :) Unfortunately I'm running out of space in my room too...good thing spring will be here soon!
