1955 Chevy 2-Door Gasser Reply #105 – January 18, 2006, 01:56:32 AM OK. Here's my 55 Chevy street machine, gasser style. It won second place in the Scale Auto Enthusiast Magazine 1998 Annual Contest and was printed in the Feb 99 issue. It's a Revell kit painted Cessna/Continintal Gold and Jet Black 2-tone, supercharged small-block, and a painted frame. I was 14 when I built it. Quote Selected

The OFFICIAL Model Car Thread! Reply #108 – January 18, 2006, 01:24:47 PM Bad sleeper! I see the TC rear end under that thing! :D Here's my 66 Rambler junker. My first job was at my grandpa's AMC junkyard so it's kind of a tribute to that. Straight-6, missing trans, busted axle, rusted, and full of junk from other cars. Check out the cracked windshield! The OFFICIAL Model Car Thread! Reply #115 – January 20, 2006, 02:25:02 PM That's cool that you found all those. My dad built models when he was young. He entered some competitions too. As they started to fall apart though, he loaded the interiors with firecrackers and blew them all up.The oldest kit I have is a release from 1976 of a "z76 Camaro" basically it's a '76 Camaro that you can build stock or modify with the parts in the kit. The only reason I have this particular one is that my aunt bought it when she got her Camaro in '76. Now it's my car so I inherited the model kit. Quote Selected
