It's hard to tell anything from those pics other than the fact the fronts clearly stick out past the fender and those rears look awful skinny for a 315. I'm not saying they're not 315's...obviously you can read if that's what's on the sidewall, just that they look thin compared to 315's made by BFG, Goodyear, etc. My 295's look bigger IMO

I should also mention....when I make the declaration that a 315 won't fit....I'm basing that on a lowered T-Bird. If the car is at stock height like your's is, virtually anything will "fit" without hitting. Try fitting 315's on a lowered Bird....it ain't happening.....295 is as big as it gets while keeping the sidewall inside the fenderlip without hitting and avoiding rubbing the inner fenderwell.

the fronts did stick out because i changed the front suspension around mustang k member with t-bird arms made it about 1.5 wider in the front thats why they arnt on it anymore and i have the welds on it gives a nice stance with the skinnies

the 315's were auto-x- slicks dunno if that made a diff but they never rubbed doing the twisty thing  i mesured them at 11.00 wide edge to edge

yeah mine is stock height and i had no desire to lower it.

I wasn't trying to argue i know thats how it seemed but i was stating that i had ran them on mine . everyones car is differant due to the assembly line what fits good on one may not fit another at all.

Those are the spoogeho's right? They tend to be on the not so wide side much like Nitto drag radials even though their published specs would lead you to believe they're huge (spoogeho claims that tire has a section width of 12.8" and a tread width of 11.9". My 295's measure out to a 10.5" tread width and a 11.5" overall width. Most 315's measure out to a 12.6" total section width with a tread width well over 11" (depending on how round the shoulder of the tire is)

On my car if you measure from the inside of the fenderlip to the inner wheelwell at the widest point it comes out to 12.75" (and that's with the lip rolled) so a common 315 would have fitiment issues with it's 12.6" section width. I really wanted to do 315's but there just was no way it would work without hitting something...especially with all the hard cornering I like to do. My outer sidewall of my tires lines up just inside of the rolled fenderlip so if the suspension were to fully compress, the tire would just clear it without touching and I end up with 3/4" of clearance between my inner wheelwell and sidewall of the tire....it barely clears when coming in a steep driveway though when the body rocks over.

I'm surprised about your front though....the Mustang K-Member/T-Bird control arm combo should have maintained the stock track width of a TC. When I had Cobra R's up front the standard SN-95 spec offset would not fit (R58's with the 5.95 backspace/24mm offset) and would have stuck out past the fender unless I ran a skinny ass tire on it. I used to run the M-179 version with the 6.42" BS/ 36mm offset and they fit perfect.

thats what sucks about running mustang offset front wheels on turbo coupes, however my 8.5" (closer to 9) wheels wouldnt clear my struts if they had more backspacing. my cobras stick out past the fenders a bit, to get it right you need to swap to mustang A arms they are like 3/4s of an inch shorter i think.

im with hawk tho, i highly doubt 315s will fit back there with out a lot of work. i have a 89 iroc and we have bigger rear wheel wells then fox bodys and we have to pound the inner fender wells in and roll the lips to fit a 315 comfortably.

yeah they were spoogeho 710's  275/40/17 frnt 315/35/17 rear

yeah the front really had everyone confused

i am using the qa1 k memeber and it also moved them forward too

with the stock t/c arms. i was told mustang arms would bring them back to  normal track width.

i dunno theres lots of stuff odd on mine like the width thing and fitments.

I love 'em....I've read some people find them noisey but I find they're only noisey when I stand on the throttle in second gear and they start spinning...LOL!! I can easily say they are the best tires I've ever had.....they look cool, they ride nice and they stick very well in the corners and provide very good feedback.
