Rims Reply #9 – October 15, 2005, 01:09:53 AM Not sure if any of you guys are interested, but Latemodel Restoration Supply has an ad in 5.0 Magazine that says they have '93 cobra replicas "starting at $590 a set" in satin, black, anthracite and chrome. Doesn't say if they come with center caps or not, but I sure wouldn't mind having a set of those in anthracite... Quote Selected

Maybe a set of Nitto drag radial 315's (because they're no wider than a 295) but there's no way you're gonna fit a normal sized 315 in there. I did tons of measuring to see if there was any way it could work....and the bottom line is the wheelwells just aren't deep enough. With my setup now there's only 3/4" of clearance between the sidewall and inner wheelwell and the quads are gone as well....gotta leave room for movement if you plan to go around corners at all and 3/4" is considered the minimum. Rims Reply #14 – October 16, 2005, 04:14:52 PM It's hard to tell anything from those pics other than the fact the fronts clearly stick out past the fender and those rears look awful skinny for a 315. I'm not saying they're not 315's...obviously you can read if that's what's on the sidewall, just that they look thin compared to 315's made by BFG, Goodyear, etc. My 295's look bigger IMO I should also mention....when I make the declaration that a 315 won't fit....I'm basing that on a lowered T-Bird. If the car is at stock height like your's is, virtually anything will "fit" without hitting. Try fitting 315's on a lowered Bird....it ain't happening.....295 is as big as it gets while keeping the sidewall inside the fenderlip without hitting and avoiding rubbing the inner fenderwell.
