Would that mount to our cars easily, or would there bee other clearance issues due to it being a different hood?

from what it looks like it would work fine. the only thing i can think of is maybe the structural ribs in the tbird hood might be in a different spot.

edit...
from what it looks like though it will be tough to find and expensive too boot. maybe something from a mach 1 could be adapted...

I don't think using the TC hood will do you any good. I'll see if i can't find the tread on turboford or nato that I'm thinking of. It said at speeds above 45mph or so, the scoops do little to nothing as far as catching air.

the scoops pick up very little air compared to a front mounted opening.

I have been experimenting with air intake options on my 5.0 and found it runs better with the piping shorter then it does long and in the fender[air filter inside fender]

Ive been wanting one of those march ram air kits for a long time just to cheap to buy one:)
