Re: Since the check is in the mail Reply #32 – October 08, 2005, 01:09:53 PM Man nice ride but have you guys been checking the internet for those prices on shipping a car? Or checking with local companies through the phone book or something. I ask because I bought my 87 from a guy just outside Kansas City. It costed me just under $550 to have them pick it up and ship to Toledo, OH. Took 10 days, I put 100 down and paid the rest when the driver showed up...You can pay the whole thing up front but I hate how companies tend to take there sweet ass time when you pay them in full for a job, everything went pretty smoothly too. Since the check is in the mail Reply #37 – October 25, 2005, 06:24:57 PM Nice! You do realize, Paul, that if I ever decide to import a car I'll be harrassing the hell out of you for information :D Quote Selected
Since the check is in the mail Reply #38 – October 25, 2005, 06:27:02 PM Not a problem! On a side note - I think I tracked down that TC that I missed out on by 30 minutes last year. Are you still interested in any parts from it? Quote Selected
Since the check is in the mail Reply #39 – October 25, 2005, 06:32:48 PM Um, what's going on with the compressed suspension on the front end, and rear possibly? Quote Selected

They tighten those things down good so they don't move around or worse, fall off. Quote Selected
Since the check is in the mail Reply #41 – October 25, 2005, 06:38:18 PM Yeah, I noticed that too. Tom would be the one to ask that but I think it's done to make the load on the truck more stable. i.e. the load rides on the truck's suspension not the car's. Quote Selected
