looks like maybe a new roof. like these guys said. check the rear pillars. and get under the car to see if there is a seem there.

deffinately find out the most you can, if it is a new roof, no big.. safe enough, if it is halved.. just use it for parts.

the door tag looks like it was pealed and restuck.  it drives ok,  why have it inspected?  been driving it since may.  also the keyless entry works fine

With a salvage title, it's likely already been inspected before it was reissued. If it was done properly there won't be a problem, cars are halved all the time. I'd be far more concerned about some of the rusty shiznit you guys are driving than a bit of welding.

Back in '80 I had a unibody '69 Ranchero halved. I hauled all the wood it would hold and never had a problem. Interesting thing about it was it had already been cliped(halved) and then the right front had been partially clipped so it was a real mess. A freind cut it farther back from the first clip and redid it.

yesterday when I had my car on the lift I found the third seem.  its located at the rear of the floor pan wich would be under the rear seat.  so it looks like I have half of two cars.
