Scam......

I was at work today and i had a customer saying that they were downloading a microsoft update and now their computer will not start. Here is where they went.

Total scam. He just got his first credit card to buy a set of restore cd's from us. Got his computer online for the first time in months and got this webpage. Now he has 60 charges to his cradit card (which he found out on his cell phone while calling his card company under my directions) and he is really ticked off.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I agree. I ran an update that caused my computer to crash because it froze halfway through the update.

No no, you guys C'mon.  A fully updated windows system is dare I say something close to reliable.  Service pack two is the best thing to happen yet.  Oh and this is for xp cause I know some of you guys still run 95 but hey.
