8.8 rearend problem Reply #17 – January 25, 2012, 07:03:47 PM I got everything back in and I'll be ed if the axles aren't at least an 1" to long! They were supposed to be from a 98 Mustang, and a direct swap. Bummed. Quote Selected
8.8 rearend problem Reply #18 – January 26, 2012, 03:48:59 PM Wish I'd seen this earlier, I'd have ridden over to help out and maybe learn something. I've got a set of GT wheels I could've brought too. Quote Selected
8.8 rearend problem Reply #19 – January 26, 2012, 04:58:37 PM Come on over. I have to pull the axles back out cuz they are too long. They were SUPPOSED to be 98GT axles, but are an 1" too long. I need to measure them and see what's up. You wouldnt happen to have any sn-95 axles would ya? Quote Selected
8.8 rearend problem Reply #20 – January 27, 2012, 01:51:08 PM I think the only thing I've got left is the rear I bought from Chuck? out in Jay..... the TC one. The SN95 went with the ex in the breakup. Though I might still have that GT rear that was supposed to go in it too, been awhile since I dug through my storage room. Quote Selected
