1986 XR7 351 turbo swap.... Reply #152 – November 24, 2013, 11:12:24 AM Trying to figure out the last two wires on my original 1986 2.3T engine harness. When I removed the original 2.3T I disconnected the alternator from the engine harness not leaving the alternator pigtail that all the 3G swap directions explain to to use...been abit stuck. I purchased a 1996 Caprice 9C1...that needed some attention to get up to Daily Driver status. So I haven't worked on the XR7 in 2 months. But im out of time...the snow is coming so Im getting my ducks in a row to get this car started next Saturday.ereHere is the post from turboford.net http://forum.turboford.org/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=2&t=057375Thanks,Travis Quote Selected
