I soldered my original ones a while ago and it worked,at least I thought they were original. Replaced them since then with longer ones.
Old Grey Cat to this.88 Cat, 5.0 HO, CW mounts, mass air, CI custom cam, afr165's, Tmoss worked cobra intake, BBK shorty's,off road h pipe, magnaflow ex. T-5,spec stage 2 clutch, 8.8 373 TC trac loc, che ajustables with bullits on the rear. 11" brakes up front. +

Well you could.. but I think it will take the same amount of work to just lengthen the originals... your call on that one..

I'm TRYING to get motivated to get out there. It's been a long week. I REALLY want to work on the car, but the TV and couch sure seem like a good idea as well. I'll go to work on the Sport. Probably wait til it's a hundred degrees.

I used the harness extension from summit.

I extended the harness because I have solder and wires in the garage that are *free* vs. paying for a harness extender. Besides I like playing with the soldering gun.
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.

Same here, and I agree with you, soldering guns are fun. This Sunday after work I'll probably break out the stuff and extend the Sport's O2 harness.
