I'm in the white band, but our results from the continuing weather is like the light blue band and I'm glad I'm not in the dark blue band..........which should not be confused with a rubber band, rock band,or high school band.

Jerry, I don't think I could handle the winter weather you guys get. I'll like the summers again around here now that the Sport has A/C again. C'mon 117 degrees.

We have about 7 or o inches of snow on the ground (along with wind and sleet) and people are sliding off the roads and killing themselves. They forget that one has to slow down on this stuff. We don't swap to snow tires here, and people just have no clue.

We have ice here...I'd rather have a foot of snow than 1/2"-1" of ice.  More ice coming later today.

x2.  I'd take snow over this ice.  Its getting pretty treacherous around here.

Here's a little update. My boss just called me, we're not working tonight. Yay, I didn't want to be out in 40 mpg gusts with less than a mile visibility, on top of 4-6 " of snow and ice already on the ground.

My nearest neighbor is a little over a 1/4 mile down the road, I can't even see their horse shed for the blowing snow. Nicole went to town for a few groceries in case we get stuck in tomorrow.

A lot of people are freakin' over it, but really, what can you do?

Just be smart, and if you need to get out, be safe, slow, and watch for the other guy.
It could always be worse..I hear Chicago is supposed to get upwards of 2 and half feet of snow...

I'm in the red band.
We had a bad ice storm here in '94. Pine cones coming down with a heavy coat of ice on them. You didn't dare go outside without your hardhat. Trees coming down all over the place. No power for six days.
Hope we are not in for that again.
