By the way....here's the idea....make a to fit the V-6 lower....a tank for the driver side, a throttle body , and tubes in the middle. Yes, fits the stock lower, but LOOKS like a tiny GT-40....like a GT-30......make one.

You know whats funny is that I have literally considered doing that with a gt 40 intake... you know just chopping off one tube on each side lmao. God I've considered putting in a V8 just so I can have one of those super shiny GT-40 intakes....homina homina homina.

Of course the part that upsets me is that a week after I ordered the new intake I realized I shouldn't have cause now I'm getting split port intakes for it. Oh yeah did I forget to mention that? well now I did:evilgrin:

Well, first of all, GT-40's are painted, not polished. Second, they cost WAY too much to chop up, and besides, nothing would line up with that sweet little V-6 lower (LOL...LOL)...and third, they really do RAWK !!!. I have one in my trunk right now, along with a lot of other sweet GT-40 stuff.

Yep, time for exhaust to be installed. Any good ler shop should be able to fix you up from the headers to the rear. I'm about to have new lers installed on the Sport soon. Still trying to decide which ones I want.

Yeah, problem is I need a tag to drive it up to the nearest ler shop. Besides that, I'm going to be putting new heads and intake on it in less than a month if everything turns out right, and it will be easier the least stuff is in my way lol. Just unbolt the headers and pull them right out :D

I've been getting around lately to fixing more of the irritating little things that bugged me when I was driving the car but were never serious enough problems to actually deal with....

First of all I fixed my DS door lock, which I broke once trying to jim into the car. I snapped the little plastic lever off the lock. Second, I got around to repairing my windows. Neither one rolled up correctly and the PS had snapped off of the connectors. Well I epoxied it back together and oiled up all the rollers and track and cranks. Everythings good now. I also got brand new correct crank handles. Then thirdly I got new door latch bolts with the plastic bushings attached so now the doors clunk shut instead of rattle shut. Got the window spacer in on the driver side which was missing too. I took my door handles out and bent the slot in the door a little to tighten the tab back up and rebolted both handles which were all loose. Used to have to slam the handle out to get the door to open. Added a couple of screws to my door panels to tighten them down too since all my tabs are broken. I need to get hold of some new fabric though. And then of course I put the cupholder thingy in there. Still working on that.

That darn cup holder....... The more I look at it, the more something is missing. I think it needs to be flush mount with the panel itself. It looks like there should be a door, but isn't one. It'll come together. needs some fine tuning. As far as the door handles (inner) being harder to open, I loosen the bolt that holds it to the door, pull the assembly forward as far as possible, then tighten the bolt. It tightens the rod, making the door open a lot easier. Just my tip for the day. Glad to see you are making progress. It's the little stuff that drives me crazy as well.

Oh no I got the door handles fixed. The problem was not the rod, just the fact that over the years the handle and the assembly had both come loose and were wobbly. I just had to tighten everything back up.
