Those seem like very nice numbers.  What is the compression?  That combo sounds like something I would be interested in....eventually. :burnout:

What is OTB? Out of the box?

Yes, OTB is out of the box.  Compression is 9:1 with a zero decked flat top Twisted Wedge piston (-3cc for valve reliefs).  The heads are the old style with the O-ring cut in them.

Hey, Mark. Any way you could scan and email or scan and post those dyno results? I'd like to have a graph for your combo. You know, for reference purposes. :)

thanks again for the use of the welder, Greg. was nice not to hafta worry about my turbo falling off on the way home. :punchballs:

fixed my header up nice tonight.

also added some standoffs at the head  so i could stop using the turned down bolts and maybe it will stay tight now.

Not with a roller block he won't.  Well, maybe he will, but probably not for very long! LOL.  I think mine's on borrowed time... to be upgraded this winter.

Hey Gumby!

Repair looks great!  I'm interested in hearing if it spools up quicker with the header sealed up.

Should have followed you to Indy, didn't expect the GPS to route me home through Indiana.  Some of those two lane roads would have been fun to chase you through.

did the GPS take you up 231? the narrow portions of 231 were pretty hilly and twisted. quite fun when there wasnt a slow car in front of me ;)

we found alot of rain south of indy....

Sorry I couldn't make it to the event. Good to hear you got the car running under boost again! Make sure to poke me after I get home to get that IC and injectors installed on my car.

Yep, 231 and then to a bunch of twisty two laners.  Not being familiar with where I was going dampened my enthusiasm on hammering though curves, but I did pass a few people in kind of a dramatic fashion!  A few hill crests could easily have resulted in going airborne with a little more speed.  I'll bet people who know the area have a great time!

I must have been a bit ahead of you.  The rain hit as I was going around Indy.  It was one of those situations where the drivers around me were far more frightening than the weather.  It was a pretty slow slog for over 100 miles, but got home OK with no issues.

Man! It sucks that I had to miss this!

We can all blame the State of Ohio for it. They had been messing up my unemployment checks for quite some time. Paying for weeks they shouldn't have been, and then not paying me to make it up and then not stopping to not pay me. I guess it was my fault for being honest and telling them about my surgery and inability to work.

At any rate, when it was time to leave for my bro's house in GA, I didn't have the funds to pay for gas to put in the Cougar down and back. I was planning on swinging by on my way back to Ohio. What really made me mad was that they finally got everything figured out on the Monday after the Saturday that we left and I could have brought the Cougar!

 Buckeye State!! :(
