And so we begin the descent into the dark, gloomy carguy hell... Reply #16 – November 03, 2009, 08:23:14 AM I grow a small vegetable garden every year -- mainly tomatoes. I usually get about 6 or 7 dozen tomatoes from 4 plants......3 tomatoes turned red for me this year.....2 were rotted on the vine before they even turned red.Everything else suffered as well. Sprinkled in June due to a thunderstorm. Threatened rain three weeks ago but not.We could be due for snow this year as it's been 5 years since the last snow.Darn the good weather. Just about 350 sunny days per year. The biggest hazard to autos we have is the plastic rotting blasted sun! I did have to wash my car six months ago.:D Quote Selected

It's now a metal cube someplace. The Tbird would have met the same fate had I continued to drive it year-round.If you lived up north, then driving year-round would be a feat. Quote Selected

The thing would be eaten by the salt in a few years. The 95 is slowly getting eaten by the salt but MN-12s come from the factory with rust Quote Selected

The roads are white with salt from the first snow storm till some time in March when we get enough rain to wash it all away.Do you have that problem by you Paul or do they show restraint with the use of salt? I wish they would here. They salt when we get an inch of snow..... Quote Selected
