And so we begin the descent into the dark, gloomy carguy hell...

Now it's 530 and the last sliver of sun is already about gone. Only the beginning.

And thus will begin angry posts fueled by winter's wrath. :hick:

In all honesty if the northeast gets smacked with as much precipitation as this boring rainy summer had....then maybe we'll actually have some SNOW and my buddy will have me up to the lake....uh...once maybe even *more* than once to go snowmobiling. :rollin:

I also think back to HAVI's signature last year "SOMEDAY IT MIGHT STOP SNOWING" :rollin: :rollin:
1987 20th Anniversary Cougar, 302 "5.0" GT-40 heads (F3ZE '93 Cobra) and TMoss Ported H.O. intake, H.O. camshaft
2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...

1988 Black XR7 Procharger P600B intercooled, Edelbrock Performer non-RPM heads, GT40 intake AOD, 13 PSI @5000 RPM. 93 octane

Got over 100 degrees here only 2 or 3 times...I remember seeing 70+ in February for the second time in as many years. I agree, winter is most likely going to be a real ball-freezing affair. For those without balls, other parts will surely feel the numb bite of the cold...lol

i dont think we had to many good weekends all year
in nw ill. over 40 inches of rain. even my pinfeathers

of corn and soybeans.

I agree with the cold & rainy summer we've had, we are in for a rocky winter.  With a tear in my eye, I put my cars up Saturday.  I can't believe winter is on the horizon already!!  It sucks...but at least we will have time to think of all the mods we can do in the spring, right?

The farmers in this area are having a horrible time getting the crops out.  Many are starting to resort to putting tracks on their combines!

Mine's been put to bed for a week already. October was so bad I only drove the T-bird twice. The first week of November has been nice so far (60* and sunny). Actually it's supposed to be 50-60* and sunny all week :hick:

I havn't even gotten started yet on my soybeans. A lot of folks here have already done theirs, but we got off to a late start, so we're delayed now, too.
