Have you ever driven a Dodge Intrepid, let alone one with 148,000 miles on it? Lets just say it's not the most fun car to drive, especially when things like the power locks, radio, brake lights, and interior lights decide when or if they want to work. Yes I've been at this  car quite a few times with a multi meter trying to find shorts but to na avail. It works fine when I check it :hick:

This is one of the reasons I have a daily driver. Plus it was raining yesterday so the 88 was in the garage with it's cover on. You can see it in the picture with the bumper cover support (the black thing).

You know after thinking about it I'm glad this was a slow speed (20-25 mph) collision. I mean the T-bird just destroyed the passenger side of his car at 20 mph. At 40 mph or so on a main street I would have killed the guy.......3700 lb T-bird vs a 2800 lb Geo would have been bad.

Just hang in there man! 3 days isn't really that bad. A month or two on the other hand.... When I got rear ended in my 97 SHO I was without my car for a month, wanna know what the insurance company got me as a rental? A purple PT Cruiser, nothing will make you feel any gayer than rolling around in a wussy little 150hp PT Cruiser when you are used to driving a 238hp V8 SHO.

Oh thank god that Dodge is gone. I'm waiting till I have to do the brakes on that car (soon). It's got 4 wheel disks, plus all the roters probably need to be changed :punchballs: I can't believe how much of that car needs work and it's only 11 years old with 140,000 miles on it. The funny thing is that the 2.7 in it is still running, but with low oil pressure. Chrysler 2.7 V6s are know to sludge up and die, but not this one :flame:

I was wondering about them. Guy at work bought an Intrepid with no or a bad motor and got a low mileage one that ended up dying too shortly after. Then there is an LHS that is dead at my Grams rental house. I tried selling it for them, then the kid beat the piss out of it (caved in the roof even). So then I started to try and buy it. 2 years later the car still sits.

They have until the first of July to GTFO since she decided that she can only afford $800 of the $1040 a month it is and is only paying that. All this after my Gramps worked with her the last 3 or so years since her husband died on paying the rent late and under.

So I am hoping she leaves the Chrysler and the MPV that is dead in the garage so I can have them.

Car looks great. Too bad you couldnt have gotten an SC front cover!
