More redneck auto work from Paul.....

:D

Okay so I JUST got her back Wednesday after waiting 2 months while they moved the shop before they could patch my passenger lower quarter. Bad timing on MY part, not the shop's fault. Great work, great price, they are THE MAN. SOOO glad to have it back finally. Almost felt like my buddy was bringing me up to *buy* a new car lol. Felt like I didnt own it anymore, couldnt even go out and sit in it! Sure most of us have been there at least once. But I no sooner get it back than decide I have to do the trim already I been meaning to do it forever. That and the grille. Supposed to match the body.

So....I did it. Rattlecans, and found one that actually pretty closely matches the car, that worked out nice. But we have a lot of random things in this house, such as a box of 2500 sheets of low grade thin dot-matrix printer paper with hole-punched edges for the feed mechanism. So yea its probably like 20 years old. Like the other random items, namely hundreds of pounds of metal stock, dad grabbed it from work because they were throwing it out.

Really came in handy. :hick: Have fun roasting me lol. Pictures of the finished product later...had to bring it over for its inspection so they oughta be done with it this afternoon. Im extremely happy with it. Even overheard someone in this group of kids like mid 20s as I was pullin outta the local Friday night hangout say "wow look at this freakin thing...cougar..."

I think he has them but likes it better w/o them.

FYI if you have to do it again, the antenna base cover pops right off with a flathead or knife.

Not gonna start a new thread yet...Ill do it when I get em all together and put em up at once....but basically I thought of some NEW picture ideas other than the tired old angles I keep being lazy and using  and did something I shoulda done awhile ago....the others really were spent last year to be honest. And the paint coming off the whitewalls. The paint coming off the whitewalls. /facepalm.  Soooo enjoy...more where this came from tomorrow

Looks great :D Don't feel bad about using the computer paper as a mask. I had to mask off part of my 95 to do some rust repair and used sections of the Chicago Sun Times held down with masking tape :hick:

You know I like the 10 holes on your car. Get some Cougar center caps and you would be golden ;)
