actually,I haven't seen anything with this color. My wife picked the color from a book of Dupont colors. She said she saw the color on a Nissan Xterra yesterday on the way home,I didn't see it.It's not a color that one would see everyday, but not a color that looks stupid on this car either.I've said before,on a Mustang, almost any color will work.On our cars, there are just some colors that do NOT belong on them. These cars are more "upscale" so to speak to pull off certain colors.I didn't want the Sport to look out of place, but I didn't want it to scream "look at me !!".Begging for attention is not cool.It has to be cool just because it is.No effort..

Not yet,but I'm working on it.LOL

The gas lid was left "Natural billet" as seen on my blue Thunderbird in the banner.I wanted to re-use the lid, but,I didn't want a big silver dot on the side of my green car,so,I had them paint it to match.I figured with the black trim on the car (all black as the Sport should be),the green lid and black fasteners would look good, and look like it belongs. That's the whole idea with this car, everything needs to "fit" as if it were built that way.I don't want the car to look like it has a bunch of cheap  just thrown on because it's easy to stick onto a car.Tasteful, low profile, functional.I try to use Ford parts wherever possible. Some parts have to be sourced outside the Ford parts bin simply because Ford didn't make what I need, like the exhaust tips that fit the rear bumper for example.I am using a Hurst pistol grip shifter, but as soon as I can find the replacement I've been looking for,the Hurst shifter handle is gone. The one I want is called the Kowolski.I can't seem to find the add I first saw it in.It was mean looking.Little things can make big difference.

Im digging that color for some sick odd reason. What paint code is that? Its gotta be a common 70's color. Anyway, that color bumps the cars age appearance forward 10 or 15 years.

I too think that paint rocks..it's hard to explain...it's really grabbing, yet not too "over the top" or words to that meaning.
Basically, what I'm saying is...it's frickin' awesome! lol :D
