'88 Cougar XR7 4.6L 3V - update 12/27/2011; Engine, trans and TC rear end in Reply #47 – October 29, 2008, 09:28:30 PM I would drive it though winter as long as the frame was semi solid. Doesnt look like it would be great but enough to make it though the winter maybe. As long as the boxes where ok, tank straps, and the rails arent too bad I would try and make it though the winter. On second thought those strut towers dont look so good. If you do drive it, pull the dash since you have to anyways, do the heater core, and leave it out. No need in doing work that isnt needed. Quote Selected

'88 Cougar XR7 4.6L 3V - update 12/27/2011; Engine, trans and TC rear end in Reply #49 – May 24, 2009, 11:07:27 PM I took the last few photos at the house we were renting while we looked for a house to buy. We lived here in limbo for 11 months. We found a great house with land that had everything I wanted AND everything my wife wanted. We love it. We've been in for two weeks and I wanted to seal the garage floor before I brought the toys over. It was getting to be a pain and I almost blew it off, but I'm glad I finally got it done. I brought the cars over and there is so much space in the garage that I can open the Cougar doors all the way without touching. As you'll notice I have to clean out the final bay for the wife. Here's the pics. I just can't believe I ended up with such a great garage. Quote Selected

Gonna probably swap the dash and get the harness installed properly while I look for a good late Explorer P 5.0L. I have a t5 I'm going to start prepping for installation. The rust bucket has great original-paint mirrors, hood, trim etc. Lots of good stuff that the Texas car does not. Quote Selected

Would love to park in our garage, instead it is used as storage for my mothers minus the stuff that actually belongs in a garage. That is why my room has been overtaken by parts. I say if it isnt too expensive or difficult to replace and you have saved it "just in case" but havent used it in a certain period of time . Donate it, sell it, give it away, throw it away, whatever. Just dont let it overtake you... Quote Selected
