I've been working 25 years to get to his point.. and finally made it to a heated shop. Now it's gonna take another 25 years to pay it off. lol

So anyway... I got some stuff for my 87 today.

5.0 HO 306 roller block, machined GT-40P heads, Wiseco dished forged pistons, Eagle forged floating I-beam connecting rods, Lunati pushrods, ARP bolts, Scorpion aluminum 1.6 rockers, Comp Cams Magnum 266HR, Explorer intake, 65mm TB, MAF Conversion, 19# injectors, Ford Racing stainless P-headers, 2-1/2" cat-less exhaust w/ Flowtech Afterburner lers , SC AOD with 2800 BDR torque converter, 3.73 T-Lok rear, CHE rear control arms, full 2-1/2" frame w/1" jacking rails & seat supports, Rear disk brakes, Turbine wheels, All original interior w/ floor shift upgrade .......
Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

Sweet A$$ Sweet !!!!! Parts are on the way to you.All you need are valves now.Unless you're going with roller rockers,yours from the current heads will work fine.Once I get my engine installed,I'll let you know about plug wire and header fitment.My GT40P heads looked that clean when I took the engine apart.The vehicle had 30,xxx miles,but I truly believe the engine was a new replacement.

Those heads are so nice I had to go back and look at the pics three times.Maybe for after I post this.LOL.Congrats !!!!! If you need anything,I'll do my best for you per our contract agreement.LOL.

I was going to run iron GT40s on my combo but I got a sweet deal on a set of brand new GT40Ps just like you have. They set me back a whole $250:D

Next weekend I'll be back to working on the car. Been a long time since I touched it. (week before labor day)

Here's the last of the shop pics that I've been working on. I just need to make doors for the cabinets, and a roll-able cabinet for my CNC. But that will happen as it happens.









Here's the plan for next week.
I need to work on the door jambs, the lower quarters, and the rockers.
As you remember, I did a lot of welding in this area, and it needs to look perfect when you open the doors.

I did some filling, but it needs a little more before primer


The lower quarters need flattening too. they're almost there now.


Now that the bulk of the filling and straightening is done, I can start the guide coat and the finish flattening. I'll try to take pics, but I don't think you will really see a difference from 1 pic to the other until the primer goes on. I'll see everyone next weekend.

WOW this thread has GROWN since ive been gone!! Glad to see your still going on this thing!!! and I like the 85 vert, nice buy!! I still got the jig for the subframes, im making a set for my dads tbird!

I welcomed the dark side and currently am driving a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT plus, with a 5.9, Code named project "Night Runner"
Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.
