it sucks to be broke Reply #30 – October 02, 2007, 10:37:49 PM I got my first job last year washing dishes and busing tables. Maybe $30 a week at first (only worked Sundays; I did start working 3-4 days a week a month or two later). Between my 2nd job and my current job, there was a 2 month period where I didnt have a job and it sucked. But now I'm a waiter and I'm making more money in one weekend than I made in 2 weeks at my two previous jobs. Having constant cash flow helps a ton also. I know both sides of it, and I definitely like the side I'm on now better. But I (in a very miniscule way since im only 19 and dont have half the responsabilities most of you do) know how it feels.
