So here's the motor I'm building.It's a 302 with 180,000 miles. I pulled it from my old 84 5.0.SPECS: COMP Cams Xtreme Energy Flat Tappet Cam: CCA-31-238-3 Duration at 050 inch Lift: 218 int./224 exh. Valve Lift: 0.493 int./0.500 exh. lift Lobe Separation: 110 DegreesHeads: E7's with a nice valve job.Intake: Wieand SealthCarb: Holley 1850, 600 cfmHeaders: Jegs!!!!!!! Cheap longtubes 3in collectorsPaint: New Ford GreyAnyway, I've got a bunch of parts lined up for it and really the only thing I'm waiting on to finish putting it together is the valve springs. I thought I could get away with stockers but the machine shop guy said NO!So here's some pics. Feel free to ask questions or flame me for destroying a TC. Quote Selected

Reply #8 – September 26, 2007, 11:29:14 AM Does anyone else have this color t-bird?Also: Chuck, I would've kept the car a 2.3L but it's my first big project and I don't know anything about those motors. Also the wiring was trashed.And it's going to be an AOD. Shift kit/rebuild in the spring. (ratchet shifter???) Quote Selected
