I'm not one to condone this with a TC but STOCK 5.0-302 WTF? If you are gonna go that route go all forged bottom in and maybe even drop the compression just a little run 8-1 or 8.5-1 then you will be set. As in set to make that thing live up to its name and twin turbo that puppy. Then atleast you are keeping with the one turbo per four cylinders. Either that or MONSTER shot of NOS! You have to make it be able to rape and pillage the unsuspecting Stang, Camaro, Vette, Porche, many many many things that think they have it made. Then you will make them respect you and your car! I'm taking the block back to the machine shop to have cam bearings and freeze plugs installed in about an hour... should be ready for me to pick up mid next week..

Oh and the engine will be in the car stock, to get the bugs worked out ;)  From there who knows.

the only time i will condone doing a v8 swap on a turbocoupe is if the v8 in question is turbocharged.

Block is at the machine shop..

The machine shop guy wants me to align hone the mains after I told him what I wanted to do with it. Also wants me to get all ARP fasteners..  I told him this is going to be the running mock up engine.

Looks like the engine will be having GT40P heads and an explorer intake.. granted I find a lower.  Have to find a decent cam for the combo and buy an A9L...And a tweecer.

Going to pick this up soon.. :)  I just bought it.  Then I will pick up the intake from Fila and have a set.  Who knows I may not need to go with a spacer to clear my fuel rail on this intake.. but then again I might.
