Questions??? July 02, 2007, 06:47:59 PM Well only maybe one question. How hard would it be to add the supercharger from a supercoupe to my 3.8 88 cougar, if at all possible and by all means tell me if this sounds like a dumbass idea. I want a little more get up and go but dont want to go through the hassle of changing the motor quite yet. :flame: Quote Selected
Questions??? Reply #4 – July 02, 2007, 09:53:12 PM I think you would grenade your stock 3.8 by adding forced induction. I wouldn't even try it. Quote Selected

Questions??? Reply #6 – July 02, 2007, 11:29:14 PM I'll take a shot in the dark and say...because the engine isn't made for forced induction? Cast pistons and all that sort of . Quote Selected
Questions??? Reply #8 – July 02, 2007, 11:40:04 PM Supercharged 3.8 V6s have forged crank, rods, and pistons. They also have a beefed up block and better head gaskets. If you put a SC blower on your stock 88 3.8 it'll go *boom* :flame: Quote Selected
Questions??? Reply #9 – July 03, 2007, 11:24:04 AM Ok well BOOM is not my intention thats why I figured i would ask people who know more on it than I do. Thanks guys . Quote Selected
