Will Mustang GT front springs be a direct swap in an '88 Sport?

I put mustang GT springs from a 88 into my 87 Thunderbird TC with no problems. Lowered the car slightly too.
1988 Thunderbird Sport. Work in Progress
5.8L swap w/fitech efi, 4R70W swap w/quick 4 controller, 2003 GT rear diff, 5 Lug swap

Bought this car back as an old project car.

check the tech section on the main page for interchangeability. Shocks and struts are a no go, springs I think are OK

Springs aare all I need for now.

You can use later Mustang ones in the front. I have stock 95's, with about a coil (and 1/8?) removed. Hard to remember how much, it's been 8 years.

The ones I want are for a Fox Stang with a one inch drop.

Well, since Foxtang springs are apparently already shorter than our stockers, a lowering spring would likely have a Birdy sing its beak on the pavement.
Death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth.

Hmmmmmmmm,I didn't realize that.I wonder how low stok Stang springs would lower my Sport.I only want about an inch.

I have cut (1 coil?) 4 cyl Mustang springs in the front of my TC.  Sits nice with 25" skinnies.

I don't want to cut any springs.I have fairly wide tires as well.

No, no...they'll be fine.

This is how mine sits with BBK '87-93 Mustang 5.0 lowering coils in front. Actual drop, I dunno, I assume it to be about 1.5". It sits at almost the exact same height as the stockers did with about a coil and a half cut off (if I remember correctly)

I tried stang (H&R 1-1/2") lowering springs in the rear of my 86' T/C and the bump stopshiznits before the springs did. I could still wiggle the springs freely but couldn't pull them out. Then I changed the rear suspension anway.

My rear suspension sits right,it's the front I want to drop just a little bit.

Hey Vinnie you can compare them here.I used the cs8602 they dropped me an inch rides great,took a couple of weeks though to settle to that.the cs8658 are stock ones.
