New windshield for the Tbird tomorrow; incar Chevelle video

Yeah, my windshield has had a growing crack in it for several months now and tomorrow I'll be getting it replaced.  I'll also be getting my passenger side window fixed because it came unglued for the 2nd time since we've owned the car.  These are 2 things I had wanted for a while but weren't on the top of my list, but dad went ahead and got that set up for me cause it was bothering him a lot haha.

In other news, we got the clutch fixed in dad's Chevelle and drove it around all afternoon yesterday.  I even got to drive it for a good 45 minutes or so.  I'm quite good with the manual transmission especially for my 2nd time out on the road with it.  I have a few bad habits and stuff, but nothing major that won't come with practice.  But driving around a 400hp fire breathing muscle car is pretty  cool :D .

Oh, we snapped an incar video of it too.  I'm sure everyone will get a kick out of dad's exclamation at the end too, but he had a very good reason for it:  Can anyone say 0-110mph in 10 seconds?  Oh, and there's another 1,000rpm left in it too; he shifted it at 5500 for the video, but the engine is built for 6,500-7,000.

ill be lucky for about low 300's its still runinng stock iron heads, really OLD eddy restrictive intake, i mean i could do new heads and intake, roller cam and lifters and it would be soo much better. its really not that modded, but its got a nice idle lope, and it still runs like a raped ape so im fine with it, it anilates 1st and second

0-110 in 10 seconds....
If that's the case, that thing would be a beast in the 1/4.  Didn't think 400Hp could get that big a car moving that fast.

The old LS6 Chevelles are one of my all time favorite muscle cars.  My Grandma used to have one as a daily driver that could smoke the tires off it all day long.

We figure the Chevelle is a 12 sec car as it sits now, so it should be about right.  Keep in mind the speedometer is a bit off too.

I think once I get the Rochester rebuilt we should run em. I dont care that ours is a 402. I need to get it goin and get a vid and pics. Your dad however spends more time on the car than my dad does. I get to redo it for him. Dont you just love parents
