All my rides Reply #4 – May 21, 2007, 05:35:44 AM Your Lincoln is looking good!We dug out my daughter's 89 Bill Blass last week and yesterday I put on my wife's 95 Mustang pony wheels.I changed the oil and filter and checked things out. If all goes well, she will get her permit today. If she decides she doesn't like the car, I want to convert it to coils spring suspension. I have all the pieces from 87-88 TC to do it. Quote Selected

All my rides Reply #8 – May 21, 2007, 03:26:01 PM When you get around to throwing paint on that Mustang, it's going to make an awesome cruiser. What color are you planning to go with? Quote Selected
All my rides Reply #9 – May 21, 2007, 03:39:39 PM original antique bronze. its gonna be a street strip car. 393 stroker, afr heads, coil over front and rear suspension, baer brakes and much more when im done. thats just how it is since my dad gave me it, its just a freshened up 351w with handported heads, long tubes, eddy intake, holly carb, luniati cam and lifters, small shiznit, but it goes like HELL.thats how it looked before he did anymajor work, its a vinal top car, so no wide paint schemes, pure sleeper, other then sound. Im even keeping the stock 289 emblems on it, should be fun, i can't wait to drive it this summer Quote Selected
All my rides Reply #10 – May 21, 2007, 03:58:05 PM Nice choice of color. It's cool that you aren't going for the same blue, black or red that everyone does. Quote Selected
All my rides Reply #11 – May 21, 2007, 04:03:54 PM i originally wanted black, but i thought, i kindda like it its almost gold in color, and its DIFFERENT, i dont see alot of 66 stangs, but the ones i do are all close to the same, thats why im piecing mine together the way I want it, to be different then anything else. its THE car that got me addicted to cars, ive been around this car since i was born, and worked on it for so long, i love it, and i have so many memories of before my parents split with my dad in this car, we never drove it much, but anytime we went somewhere special for me, we HAD to take the stang, cub scouts weekend camp out, he came we brought the stang, all kinds of stuff. Then the new 2 1/2 with flows, coming home, started to run low cause the pump is dieing, had to mash it to keep it alive, in first to second roasted them out the spot light and flying around the courner. The car is just amazing to me, most people also think right now its a shiznit box cause how it looks, man so many camaros we ahve spanked with it!! Quote Selected
All my rides Reply #12 – May 21, 2007, 05:03:04 PM I know what it's like to work on a project like that for so long. Dad got his Chevelle when I was in 5th grade, and many cool memories have been had in that car. We even took it to my prom Junior year and stuff too. While I dont see me inheriting it any time soon, I still keep it close to me as if it were my own. And now my Tbird seems to be emerging as another father/son project for us. Only this time, it's mine! :DBe sure to keep us all updated on the Stang. I'd love to see how it turns out after some paint and cleaning. Quote Selected
