They are open every Sunday until September 23rd. They have three main tours that you can choose from,

"WEST TOWER TOUR
Experience the view from the Guard Tower after winding up the spiral staircase. From this perspective, you will see the cemetery in which inmates were buried with only their assigned number on the grave. This tour also stops at the Big Dig, where you can observe the underground tunnel system. There is extensive stair-climbing on this tour. Taking pictures from the wall or Guard Tower portion of this tour is NOT PERMITTED."

"EAST CELL BLOCK TOUR
Travel the length of the East Cell Block, the world’s largest freestanding steel cell block. On this tour, you will also pay a visit to the Catholic Chapel above the Central Guard Room. Get an insight into the living quarters as you venture on through multiple floors. This tour involves extensive stair-climbing. "

"HOLLYWOOD TOUR
See the Shawshank Prison Warden’s office, Parole Board Room and Andy Dufresne’s escape tunnel. Hazard a trip into the sinister “hole”. View the 1886 West Cell Block used as a Russian prison in Air Force One. This tour also involves extensive stair-climbing."

West Tower Tour
1:00 PM    1:45 PM    2:30 PM    3:15 PM

East Cell Block Tour
1:15 PM    2:00 PM    2:45 PM    3:30 PM

Hollywood Tour
1:30 PM    2:15 PM    3:00 PM    3:45 PM

"There are three different routes to choose from on Sunday. Tours are $8.00 (Adults) and $6.00 (Ages 7 -17). Additional tours taken on the same day are $5.00. Tickets are purchased on a first come first serve basis. Gates open and tickets are sold one half hour prior to 1:00 PM. Each tour is approximately one hour in length."

"Guests are invited to visit our gift shop and museum where they can view a replica of the Electric Chair."

Dragway 42 is within a half hour drive, but from their website it looks like they only do test and tune on Friday nights. http://www.dragway42.com

I might give them a call later on in the year to make sure, but it does mention test/tune on Sundays', so maybe it's after the money racing ends. I added it to my favorites.

Sorry guys but due to a total F*ck up in the toledo court system i probably wont be able to make it to CJ i will be able to give an update by about the second week of july. Not to mention i still have not reserved any rooms or any of that stuff. In the offbeat chance i do show i will probably be showing up with an 89 SC in tow.

Tuesday this next tuesday to be exact i have to go to court for a ticket that was never paid. I paid online at the Toledo clerk of courts .org and it must have never went through. The bills that will amass will probably wipe me out for a few weeks. 150 for a lawyer 113 for the ticket and 50 for court costs. Then the week afterwards i have both my car payment and insurance to pay.

Thanks , but thats just how life is , i have learned a lesson when your paying something as important as a ticket as much of a pain in the ass it may be go pay in person. I hope the Judge does see it my way as i have the bank statements from 04-07 to present and they have been notarized showing that i kept an even balance of at least 113 in my bank account at all times.

when you never saw it clear the bank did you question anyone about it?

I went to the local precinct every friday to see WTF was going on, and they said that they would e mail the receipt to me. After a month i was getting anxious because they still had not taken the money out but being local government i figured they were just dragging their asses. and no receipt.

I'm pretty big on keeping reciepts and such, and maybe I am a little overkill sometimes, but all it takes it one person on the other end to mess, or me to mess it up for them. Hope everything works out.

My house seems pretty centrally located, so if the Wife would give me permission, and everyone would be willing, I am even up for having people meet at my house.
