Ooh, ooh, drag strip. That's 4+ hours away from though. hmmm. Drag racing, hmm. I'm seriously thinking of going to my local strip tomorow. I'm gonna have to trailer it there, since the brakes lock up after 15+ minutes of driving. After cool off, they back off. My 2nd gear synchro is messing up unless I baby it, but at least I'll get an idea of what the car can actualy do for a change. It will be it's first time at the strip.

Actually, for all 22 people that responded, for a round trip Mansfield is an average distance of 244 miles, and Columbus is an average distance of 286 miles. Keep in mind this is for everyone who responded in this topic, MI, IN, and PA people included. For just ohio people, for a round trip Mansfield is an average distance of 205 miles, and Columbus is an average distance of 243 miles. So in either case Mansfield, is about 40 miles shorter round trip. All the distances were figured out using stated locations, and Yahoo Maps.

Ok. I'm impressed. :D . Safe to assume they are open all year round, and Sundays??? This could be a really cool get together. Care to research on the car shows/criuses in the area for later in the year also? This could be a really cool get together. If anyone else is familiar with the area, that would be helpful too. Maybe there is a drag strip nearby too. ;) I would consider this a group effort, I'm just pushing the idea. So, whatever those that are interested in doing this think about it, is very cool with me.
