Look what I get to work on Reply #40 – February 09, 2007, 09:13:04 PM Anyone remember the Yenko Nova? I think they were the first "production car" to do 0-60 in under 5 seconds. Your brother's car looks to be mid to late 70's. Since the Yenko Nova was a 69-70 model, I wonder if that style would carry over to to later year Nova.Your a good man for doing that for your brother. Look what I get to work on Reply #41 – February 09, 2007, 09:58:20 PM I remember seeing yenko... but it didnt carry over to these.. bright idea tho... need somthing to break up the monotony of an all black paint job.Yeah, I feel good about everything Im doing to it.. seeing ill get to drive it every now and then. now a little update.. I started in my area of expertice... the sound system. He has a pioneer EL kamelion head unit (good)2 6" front speakers (un hooked)2 6x9's out of a lincoln continentalsome pioneer honeycomb speakers (in a box... waiting for me to install em)a Scoshe 300w amp.4 gauge wiredistribution blockI took out all the extra wire he had in there.I hung the 6x9's in the rear deck.I put the honeycombs in the back windowI mounted the scoshe and wired to honeycombsStuff I had him buy for it.Dual RCA kitLanzar 1000w amp(2) 12" Maxxsonic woofers [dual voice coils]1" dome tweeterswire, wire, and more freakin wire.all that is hooked into 1 switch. to turn the amps on.sounds nice... but im biased toward the t-birds system... it sounds alot better granted proportions and deadening schtuff:D Quote Selected
