I hated the 307, there was a bad block for Me, all of the 307 I see was a shiznit!, too gas consumption for the power...

But I liked the 305, economical, not much power in it, but a good engine, just an issue for the FIRST series of 305, it was the cam, so the GM recalled their first 305 for the cam, or paid for the replacement cam when I worked in a garage...

The 267 (little version of the 305) was a really ...

IMHO,

Regards,

Dom.

That would be cool. An Olds in a Chevy. Kind of a payback for all those Cutless's with Chevy 350s.

Anyone remember the Yenko Nova?  I think they were the first "production car" to do 0-60 in under 5 seconds.  Your brother's car looks to be mid to late 70's.  Since the Yenko Nova was a 69-70 model, I wonder if that style would carry over to to later year Nova.

Your a good man for doing that for your brother.

I remember seeing yenko... but it didnt carry over to these.. bright idea tho... need somthing to break up the monotony of an all black paint job.

Yeah, I feel good about everything Im doing to it.. seeing ill get to drive it every now and then.

now a little update.. I started in my area of expertice... the sound system.

He has a pioneer EL kamelion head unit (good)
2 6" front speakers (un hooked)
2 6x9's out of a lincoln continental
some pioneer honeycomb speakers (in a box... waiting for me to install em)
a Scoshe 300w amp.
4 gauge wire
distribution block

I took out all the extra  wire he had in there.
I hung the 6x9's in the rear deck.
I put the honeycombs in the back window
I mounted the scoshe and wired to honeycombs

Stuff I had him buy for it.

Dual RCA kit
Lanzar 1000w amp
(2) 12" Maxxsonic woofers [dual voice coils]
1" dome tweeters
wire, wire, and more freakin wire.

all that is hooked into 1 switch. to turn the amps on.

sounds nice... but im biased toward the t-birds system... it sounds alot better granted proportions and deadening schtuff

:D
