i love how your valve covers look all nice and shiny. my valve covers are all oxidized or something. they look dirty but its not dirt lol. one of em the front 2 inches or so of it look new in a patch thats like 4 inches in diameter, and then the rest is the rough, sandpaper-like grayness.
 
ill repaint em...someday...:grinno:

Thanks. But think if I actually pollished the V/C's. They would look nice and pretty. I'll probaly do that, scrub all the grime out from under the nood and try to clean my wheels tomorow

Hey,those plug wires look very familiar.LOL.I didn't use chrome covers.I almost did,then,I decided to polish my factory Mustang aluminum covers,Nice.Keep up the good work.No matter how small of a repair you make,it's still one step forward on the car.Moving forward is a good thing.

Let me be the first to admit, this was a dumb idea, but it's done. I went ahead and swapped the 4 barrel intake onto the car, with the adapter.

Now the EGR spacer is totaly off the car. The timing is totaly guessed, and now the throttle/kickdown bracket ( when bolted to the 4 barrel intake) holda the carb 3/4-WOT just sitting there. WTF? I know I jumped off the deep end, and will eventualy put a carb on, but this stuck me as the perfict time to do it as it's cold, snowy, and I will not drive the car in it. Anyone have anything to say / anything to throw at me?

Well,you're already knee deep into it.Get the carb on and get it going.You've gone this far,might as well finish what you started.You can spend money on a temporary fix,or spend money for the actual "fix".My 2 cents.

Well, i figure:
1. It's winter, so no driving
2. A temp fix till I get the cash
3. I can work the hours to get a carb
4. a carb can be found, but it might not be "THE RIGHT CARB" for a while, more of one to run it. probaly a 2 barrel at first, then a nice edelbrock maybe? Now that i started this cluster fornicate, I have to finish it

Consider how much money you spend for temporary fixes,and consider how much of that could've went towards the carb you wanted,and the carb to AOD TV cable you'll need.There are reasonable caerbs all over E-Bay.How about a carb from an '85 Mustang GT.Those Holleys were prety good.Then there are the Demons and etc. as well.Good luck.If I can help,you know I will.

Some of my freinds run edelbrocks. I've heard good things, and I wana give one a shot. 570-600 maybe. It all comes down to money, motovation, and time. Right now, I have the motovation, but I work the next 6 days, and get paid saturday. It will go peice by peice, but for now, I can only play with what I have.

Ok, well not it's "poping/backfiring". I'm sure the dizzy was put in wrong, so I'm checking that now. Anyone have any idea's of what else I can do now, as teh car will be down / off the road till spring for repairs/mods?
