Okay this is my last new thread for the day I promise.

Lookie what I found:

Rear Disc Conversion

It says right in the auction that this will work for 4-lug Mustangs and Cougars. Does it seem feasible to anyone here?

I guess it's not an unreasonable price for 2 brackets concidering I just paid $50 for one (AC eliminator) bracket from March... Found out later I could've got the Trickflow bracket for $30

A better option would be to get a complete 8.8 rear from an 87-88 Turbocoupe in a wrecking yard. The proplem with that is there generally are no more TC's in wrecking yards... At least I haven't seen one in over a year and I live in a major metropolital area. Anyway, most wrecking yards of the "U pull it" variety will charge between $60 and $100 for a rear end.

I know of a yard near my house with two TC's in it. I've gotten a few odds and ends from each of them in the past. Mostly interior pieces. They said they would sell me a rear end out of one of them for $200. But then you have to get an adapter and make sure your break lines are run correctly. Then there is the e-brake cable and the new prop valve and master cylinder. It ends up costing you a bit more than what you pay for the rear itself.

i dont see how it would work with different offsets. i only see those working with fox length axles, not 87-88 thunderbird/94-98 mustang.
