We got hit often last year, yet it always seemed to melt within 2 or 3 days so it really wasn't that big of a deal. We had one year 2004 where it was just a solid sheet of ice for about a month and a half. I let the car sit THAT year. I'll drive it, but I have 2 other vehicles that take the brunt of the winter duty -- A 4WD and a FWD.

I was really complaining about the sun.:D Yes I do own a classic bike. 10 forward speeds. A 1980 model Suteki or some puppiesaneese name like that. Sold new at Sears in 1980 for $499. :burnout: It's a twin in color to the Cougar.

This morning however, it's pretty cool. Down to 40*. The high will only be 78*. Darn that sun. I drove my Cougar to work today. It'll be exposed to the elements.

Around here the buzz all over the place was that the area would have a salt shortage due to the budget blah blah blah. What did the highway department do? Dumped the stuff out as much as ever LOL. We didn't run out, I suppose it was taken care of/was a non-issue in the end but it shows how NY'ers' money gets pissed away.

They like to salt here in Pa. too. I haven't driven my Bird in the winter for probably 16 years now. I started buying beaters so it could sit them out. But the couple of years I did drive it it really went well in the snow.
I agree with you guys about the summer, the weekends where mostly wet, at least one day was. I've been laid off since april so I got to enjoy the nice days we had during the week. Those nice days enabled me to cut grass and detail cars.

3 tomatoes turned red for me this year.....2 were rotted on the vine before they even turned red.

Everything else suffered as well.

We did decent on tomatoes. Raspberries had a great year both crops.

Tomatoes were rotting more than usual, and didnt grow as high as usual. Still got more than we can use as always.

People are always going to complain about the weather of any season, overall this summer was a nice change of pace. I dont think I would like it every year, I like my heat and sun.

As for this Fall, TAKE IT BACK! I hate rain that last more than 2-3 days. This week has been nice, warm days, chilly nights, a little wind, my idea of Fall

daylight savings is g me off. I got home from work alittle earlier than usual and thought that I might have alittle time to do some work on the 5.0TC just about as soon as I got started the sun went down.
