bada bing:

the mark for the keyless entry cutout:

not too shabby, but seriously needs a wash:

"real" TC hood:

dash back in, finally:

I have the mirror on, and have to get some more jigsaw blades to finish the cutout for the keyless entry panel. I knew I shouldn't have started that with only one blade left..ughh.

That's all that is left before I slap on the door panel and whatnot.
Then I'll start all over again with the other side.

STILL need to get ball joints so I can tear the front apart, but I need to be able to move the car until then, so that's why it's still not apart.

Anyway, that's it for now.

On the template drawn on the driver side door for the keyless,it looks like it needs to come up a little higher from the door handle.Measure a few times, and cut it once.On this matter, once it's cut,it's cut.No going back. You are where I was a year and a half ago.Doors, interior, hood and more.Feels good to make progress doesn't it?

Take the lock and keypad off of your old door, put masking tape over the holes and cut them out with an exacto knife. Tape it back on the new door. Perfect template.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Not a whole lot to mention, but did get my strut tower brace installed Monday afternoon. Starting to get around to putting the fenders back on. I've got a few pieces of TC molding to install as well as some new cornering lamps.

Once I get the fenders on I will start on the revamp of the front suspension. (I know I've been ballyhooing about it for 3 or 4 months, I mean it this time, lol)

I'll snap a coupla pics tomorrow, as I forgot to get them Monday :hick:

Anybpdy have some Base door panels they want to trade for, or sell?

I've got a decent set of raven and gray TC panels...would rather have the base panels.
