So I put in for Portugal

I put in for an assignment to Portugal for a year. (well an Island 900 miles off the coast 2,200 from New York City) Still awesome and much better than Moody AFB, GA!

Please wish me luck, and hope that I get it! I am every day now!

Of course, the cat will be resting at my parents house for the time that I am gone. Hopefully since it is so remote, I will be able to save money and drop a brand new 351 crate engine in her! :D

My sister and her girlfriend just got back from a trip to Portugal.
They were on an island called Acores. They loved it there!

If it's Lajes I've spent the night there a few times when I was on a C141 crew. Seemed like a nice place, though unfortunately I didn't get to see much of it. Hope you get to go, I think it would be a cool assignment for a year.
