What do you do when you're bored at work?

So today was an extremely slow day. I couldn't surf the net so I had to come up with something to kill time...

It's about 1:43rd scale. A little narrow but oh well.
If I have more days like today, I'm going to build an entire fleet of fox birds and cougars.... :(

I want one for my desk at work.

I just sit there and stare at the screen. Not much else I can do. I throw stuff over the cubical wall at the other contract employees. Rubber band fight are always good.

i read this site or fordsix or study for M$ exams
normally i don't have a ton of down time though.
seems ppl are always breaking their computers.

I usually rip around the parking lot with a customers quad, dirt bike, motorcycle or whatever else runs and is near the door... never thought of that though, .

5.0willgo, what the hell do you do for a job? I get bored at work and sometimes we'll have an hour or two with nothing to do (and it sucks), but I've never made a paper car before.

Course we can also go online and dick around, although they frown on it.

Wait people aren't usualy bored at work? Every day is boring at work for me (I work for the Chicago Public Library so yeah). I usually just surf the web when I'm bored, or if I'm really bored me and my friend shoot rubber bands at each other. Yeah we need more work to do.

I monitor interfaces for computer systems for a company which runs hospitals in Baltimore.

Basically I keep an eye on 3 computer monitors which show the status of each interface with a green box. If the box turns red and stays red after a couple of minutes, I contact whichever group of people work with that specific interface. Problems rarely come up. Maybe once a day within the 12 hour shift I work.

It's the perfect job since I'm in college I can do my homework and such.

But on the side of the room I work on, we have one computer that we are allowed to use for surfing the internet and my coworker was using it all day. Since I had nothing constructive to do, I made the car.

Then you need a new job. I used to be bored out of my mind working at walmart (mainly 'cause I didnt do shiznit) and working at the call center was mind numbingly dull. But now I almost always work through my coffee breaks i'm so busy, I come home from work exhausted, sore, tired and I love it.

I do get bore on my lunch hour though, Painted my hubcaps today.

Well, I get to sleep when it is boring. Or watch movies, or just sit in the sun. I hate summer because of this.

Pizza is oh so fun in the summer living in a college town! yay
