power steering hose(d) August 16, 2006, 01:49:53 PM i posted this in the wrong forum originally so i'll repeat it here. one of my power steering hoses sprung a leak. As you are looking down on the engine, it's the one that rises farthest up with the curve. what is the best way to change it? i looked at it and i can't see a good way to get to the bottom fitting to loosen it. it looks like it would just unbolt on either end. power steering hose(d) Reply #1 – August 16, 2006, 11:52:58 PM I just pulled mine from my parts car. I used an open-end wrench , it moves a 1/4 inch at a time. The engine was out so it was not too bad. With the motor in I think pulling the bolts that hold the rack on, then dropping it down might make it easier. Quote Selected
