Accent lighting

Well, since I have a bunch of green LEDs sitting around, I fuigered that I would fab up some accent lighting for the interior.  So Far, I only have 3 vents done, but I'll post some pics to give you an
Idea.  They are a little blurry, but you get the concept.
the last pic  is the aluminum switch panel.

Very cool idea. Though, I've noticed while driving at night, the less light inside the cabin, the better.

I really like the switch location.  Did you direct wire it or use relays?

All-in-all, I like it.  I'm just not sure I could drive with all those lights going on.

Direct wired, however, with inline fuses.  Since they are LEDs, they dont draw much power.  I had them on tonite, and to tell you the truth it wasnt that bad at all.  Its not really that bad since the color is a darker green.  The only problem I found was I can actually see the LED itself when driving, but only on the drivers side vent by the door.  I'll have to re-locate those two, but other than that, it works.  I used Duplicolor "Night Lites"  coating inside the ducts.  It makes a reflective surface sort of like a road sign.  It worked well to diffuse the light, but its not noticable during the day, because its clear.  I might add a couple of neon tubes under the dash to even it out a little.  Also, I need to change the cluster lights over to LED bulbs so i can have the same darker green shade all over the dash.
